Great Spontoon tomahawk
By Iron John Logan
This is my copy of an original tomahawk from the 1860s. This head is the most difficult tomahawk I have ever forged, gun barrel pipe and eye, steel bit, pierced curls. Patinaed to match the original. Smokeable handle of black Walnut with fire checkering, incise carving, paint and brass tacks. Brain tanned deer quirt with glass beads and wool wrap. Overall dimensions 13 by 23 inches
