Ol' Red barnjo by Iron John Logan began in 2011 and completed 2023
A proof of concept and project for a good friend barnjo began with reclaimed lumber from the demolition of a local barn. Beautiful color and texture difference between hard resonate Beech and silky smooth old growth Redwood with segmented Maple pot and Bicote finger board. Construction and tension design original to Iron John Logan. Large 12 inch pot with dyed "fiber skin" head, peg style micro tuners, hand carved Malberry bridge, and solid brass tail piece with Iron John's touchmark. Original one of a kind Folk Art banjo personal collection of the artist.
