One last look at Broken blade long knife before it goes off to it's new home! Cutdown bimetal saber blade, hand filed brass hilt, bird's eye maple grip with folk art carvings and iron nails. Sheath is "leatherless" made of hot dipped iron tin plate that is traditionally seamed, soldiered and closed with copper rivets. Wax hardened leather frog creates the carriage and belt loop. A historical play on the concept of frontier trash, using what was available to make what was needed. Signed and dated by Iron John Logan 2022
